Artist’s Words:
"In this work, I wanted to show the feeling of devastation and helplessness of a person who has lost everything. I decided to tell it through the story of a girl whose house was no more. I didn't want the model to have any special make-up or hairstyle - everything had to look natural as if the event caught her by surprise. In my opinion, the model perfectly conveyed the feeling of hopelessness with an empty look. I also asked her to clench her hands so that she conveyed tension."

Devastation in the definition is destruction or great damage to something or someone, yes it could be used as a term for a human in a form of a feeling shaped in the word Devastated.
This is the term you might hear in day-to-day life, but how much do you feel it, this word or better to ask, how is that defined to you? Some of us might be feeling devastated out of huge frustration as a result of a failure that could be recovered over time, even if it remains in our memories.
But there is another story in which we can input this term in, imagine in the dark of the night you go to sleep under the shiny blanket of the sky and then in a matter of seconds all is bright again; as an eternal brightness until all is black again as that brightness is now replaced by the darkness of night. though you can’t sleep again because you feel the breath of cold on your face, yes you feel something is wrong...
the sun is rising on the horizon, yet you can’t wait anymore, the window, the walls and the ceiling are not anymore in your sight, what really happened last night doesn’t matter anymore; because what’s important is that nothing is there on its right place right around you...
Yes, the decision was to gain peace by one direct means, and you had to pay for it by losing all which once was yours but not anymore, but is there any peace now?!
My lifetime question has always been, was it enough that massive brightness to bring peace?
Author's Message:
The estimations are unable to respond to us about how many millions of houses were destroyed during air bombings conducted to establish peace, and millions of displaced humans are the result of wrong solutions to end the aggression by aggressive means.
