LRDLF Community Message
Today, as the world unites to stand against all forms of violence directed at women and girls, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to building a society where every woman is safe, valued, and heard.
At La República De La Felicidad (LRDLF) Community, women have always been at the heart of our mission. Our community has long served as a safe place, a living platform where women can express their voices freely, share their experiences, and participate in shaping peaceful and resilient societies. The majority of our program participants are women, and their courage and wisdom continue to reassure our work in peacebuilding.
Violence against women remains one of the most pervasive human rights violations worldwide. It is rooted in inequality, perpetuated by silence, and worsened by conflict, displacement, and social injustice. This day reminds us of the urgent need to challenge harmful norms, raise awareness about societal issues, and amplify the voices of women who have endured and survived violence.
As a community of peace-builders, we stand in solidarity with all women and girls. We are committed to fostering spaces where healing, dialogue, and empowerment can flourish, spaces that honor dignity and promote lasting peace.
Our Mission & Vision at LRDLF: Creating Space for Connection, Healing, and Hope. We believe in a world where every person, across all borders, can find meaning, belonging, and peace. And we remain dedicated to building that world, hand in hand with the women who continuously inspire and lead us.
On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we call upon our community and the global family to act with compassion and courage. Let us continue to educate, advocate, and transform our societies into places where equality is not an aspiration, but a lived reality.
